Three Fiber Trends
Oct 25, 2023On October 12, Fiberdagen 2023 took place in Holsljunga, an inspiring autumn fair where "the most innovative exhibitors in fiber blowing gather to showcase their latest products, methods, and technologies." As one of the organizers, we were naturally present, displaying Nexans' fiber products and components. The day brought many meaningful meetings, and Nexans' GAHSL Microribbon gained significant attention, including from Daniel Lindespång and Pontus Sparf from Transtema, as seen in the picture.
Nexans' Johannes Josefsson, Product Manager for Digitalization and Electrification, was on site and identified three trends in the industry
- Increased focus on safety and preparedness in the industry.
Access to stable and secure communication is becoming increasingly important and is critical for the proper functioning of many systems. Preparedness for operational issues such as excavations and external impacts is increasing to quickly restore communication.
- The automation of installation equipment (such as fiber blowing machines) is on the rise, providing new opportunities for a quick and gentle cable installation in conduits.
- Interest in ribbon cables has never been greater, thanks to the launch of Nexans GAHSL Microribbon.
We extend our gratitude to all visitors and co-organizers!
