Return system for drums

By using a return system, the environmental impact is significantly reduced. The cable drums can be used on average 8 times before they are scrapped. In this way, we save our natural resources and help create a sustainable society.

The cable manufacturers within Selcable have a common return system which means:

• All use the same standard / design on the drums "K-drums"
• Returns are accepted regardless of whom have sold the drum, provided that they meet the K-standard
• All use the same prices as compensation for returned drums
• There are common rules for valuing damaged drums
