Young sustainability experts meet in a conversation series on sustainability

Sep 20, 2022

Join Nexans´ meeting 3 under 33 - young people sharing sustainable insights. 3 people, all under the age of 33, all from different companies and industries meet to discuss our common challenges from a sustainability perspective.

The subject of the first meeting is "HOW TO MEASURE SUSTAINABILITY". A topic that is frequently discussed in many companies and which is to be highlighted with the help of Ellinor Axelsson, Sustainability Analyst at 2050, who will lecture on the topic and also lead the conversations.

When: Breakfast meeting on September 28th

Where: 25th floor of the newly built Kronjuvelen, Gothenburg.

This time, Sara Öberg, Planning Manager JM, Nathalie Egenaes, Sustainability Expert SEB and Jakob Svenningsson, Purchasing Manager Nexans meet to discuss which measurement methods are relevant for their operations and what the various companies have chosen to focus on.

- There are so many certifications and measurement methods related to sustainability. How do we know that we are investing in the right measurement method if we don't talk to other players and industries about this? External collaborations are key for companies' sustainability strategies to become truly sustainable.  Nexans is happy to offer an arena for this discussion - we all have a lot to learn from each other and we also need to broaden our own contact networks to work more effectively in our sustainability work, Gabriella Myrén, Communications Manager at Nexans says.

The idea behind these series of meetings is to each time focus on an issue related to sustainability and invite people and companies with a natural connection to the subject.
