Thanks to the use of renewable energy sources such as wind and hydropower, the carbon dioxide emissions from aluminum refined in the Nordic region are halved compared to the European average*.
Nexans always strives to use sustainable and recyclable materials with the lowest possible CO2 emissions. Therefore, we primarily use Nordic refined aluminum and guarantee low-carbon aluminum in certain cables.
