Pep Talk 2024!
Jan 8, 2024With an increased proliferation of environmental labels, certifications, and claims, we understand if it's challenging to keep up with all the talk of sustainability. Nexans is heavily investing in sustainability issues, and to make it easier to understand, we publish independently third-party-reviewed PEP/EPD for our products.
EPD (Environmental Product Declaration) is a recognized information system that factually describes environmental properties, impact, and performance of products and services in a life cycle perspective. PEP (Product Environmental Profile) is the type of EPD used for electrical products, including our cables.
In 2024, we continue to add to our library of PEP for our products with the aim of ensuring transparency in our efforts to electrify the future and drive the transition to renewable energy. Together with customers and suppliers, we reduce CO2e emissions and manage the Earth's resources wisely.
